Just, Gurr & Associates Accountancy Corporation dates its origin to 1987 when Kevin Just and E. Murray Powell founded Powell & Just in Campbell, California.

Both Mr. Just and Mr. Powell had previously worked at Armstrong, Bastow, and Potter, former members of Price Waterhouse. Over the years Mr. Just and Mr. Powell had developed special expertise in the construction and agricultural industries. In 1990, Mr. Powell began employment at one of the firm’s construction clients where he now works as general manager. Mr. Just continued in public accounting developing experience and clientele in real estate investment industry and international operations of U.S. businesses.

With the arrival of Michael Gurr in 1993, the firm was able to diversify into new service areas and provide its clients with additional financial services.

In July 1999, Michael Gurr was admitted as partner and the firm was renamed Just, Gurr & Associates Accountancy Corporation. Today Just, Gurr & Associates Accountancy Corporation is a growing full service CPA firm specialized in construction, agricultural and real estate industries and striving to help its customers achieve their financial goals.
