Experience
As Managing Partner, Mr. Just oversees the daily operations of the firm and makes sure that the company provides the best tax and accounting services at a reasonable rate and the clients’ financial needs are met.
Mr. Just is in control of all tax matters. He is directly involved with entity planning, foreign activities of U.S. taxpayers, construction taxation, real estate and development taxation and hobby loss rules. Mr. Just also represents clients before the IRS and Franchise Tax Board, especially in the area of hobby loss.

Audits and Valuations
Experience
As the Audit and Valuation partner, Mr. Gurr directs and performs controller and general manager duties for numerous clients, oversees the preparation of the firm’s audited, reviewed and compiled financial statements and consults for and prepares business valuations. Mr. Gurr has worked in all areas of public accounting, including preparation of corporate and individual income tax returns, preparation of audited, reviewed and compiled financial statements, as well as participating in many special projects. Prior to joining Just, Gurr, & Associates in 1993, Mr. Gurr accumulated years of experience in both banking and construction accounting while obtaining his bachelor’s degree in accounting from San Jose State University.
